It culminates in the Pico de San Gregorio at 844 meters of altitude, recognized as a Sacred Mountain, for the wealth of Sacred Spaces, Altars of Offerings and Altars of Sacrifices that we can see sculpted in its granitic rocks, or Sacred Crags.
Not in vain has it been declared a National Archaeological Monument since 1933, thanks to the fact that on its summits there are visible remains of pre-Roman settlements, Arab settlements and necropolis and even a Muslim castle with its characteristic cistern at the top.
